Mission Accomplished

I ditched the kernel-level PPPoE net driver in favour of rp-pppoe this morning. A few reboots later (to verify the service came up successfully in case of a power loss/restore) and everything seems to work well. </p> <p> Now, only time will tell if...

Another Outage

These outages of PPPoE connectivity really frustrate me. I lost connectivity at around 00:30 EST and restored it manually at 07:20 EST today. I have a strange feeling that choosing the kernel PPPoE driver does not work as well as a userland PPPoE...

Confirmed 1.3.3 Fixes

More Server Drama

Earlier today, I noticed that piggy had gone down again. Unfortunately, this happened twice since I installed my RAID drives, and the 2.4.11 kernel that went with it. Surely enough, it appears that 2.4.11 didn't have the best track record out there...

Inching Forward

Work continues on FuzzMeasure 1.4, and my graphing code has grown considerably since then. I wrote lots and lots of graphing code, and yet so much more code remains for me to write. When will it end? </p> <p> Of course, with a huge load of work should...
