FuzzMeasure turns 1 today:

// // main.m // MLSMeasurement // // Created by Christopher Liscio on Wed Jun 09 2004. // Copyright (c) 2004 SuperMegaUltraGroovy. FuzzMeasure started out as MLSMeasurement (lame name, huh?), which captured measurements and dumped the impulse response into a CSV file. That CSV file got imported into Excel, where I applied the FFT and graphed the phase and magnitude results.

After many iterations and improvements, FuzzMeasure became what many people find the easiest acoustical measurement package on the Mac. Now that the feature set has become stable, and I covered the basic functions, I can start pushing the envelope with visualizations that open the door to new ways to look at your measurements.

And just now, Gus has informed me that last night during the Apple Design Awards ceremony, the presenters showed not one but two (!) screenshots of FuzzMeasure in action while displaying a slideshow of applications Apple thought did well, but didn't get awards.

In my book, I don't think FuzzMeasure could have asked for a better birthday present. Thanks Apple! :)
