Almost There

Right now, I sit at page 351/428 (82%) in the book. I certainly learned a lot by taking another swipe at learning Cocoa with a little bit of experience under my belt. More than anything, I find myself far more comfortable with throwing new windows into an application, and whipping up controllers in all the right places. Comfortable is exactly what I aimed for.

I imagine that this is what it would feel like if I took a course that I failed for the second time, and now realize the things I missed that caused me to not do so well during my first attempt. I hope that I can translate all this new perspective into an even better application for future releases.

Over the weekend, I was doing some work on FuzzMeasure alongside my reading, and managed to get some work done that will allow FuzzMeasure to check for updates automatically (at the user's request, of course). My subconscious has also taken the liberty of working out the details of my impulse windowing UI. There is a lot that I want to accomplish, but many details still remain to be worked out.
