Frustration Again

I am experiencing even more pain today at the hands of this M-Audio Transit USB device. It is absolutely the most terrible device you could purchase for a Mac. On a Windows 2000 machine it seemed to work fine, but even then I didn't get to test it with a lot of plugging-in and unplugging events. If you use a Transit USB with a Mac running Panther, you will experience kernel panics that will force you to hard-reset your machine in order to get back to work.

I've been trying to get through this with the M-Audio support people via email, but it doesn't seem that is getting me anywhere. The simple fact of the matter is that I have plenty of work that I need to do using this device, and it's simply not working properly. I'm really stuck at this point, and I'm running out of ideas for how I should resolve this problem..

So, yeah, I'm frustrated. I just hope I can get this sorted out soon. I'm sick of buying crappy hardware, and really don't want to “live with” this sort of garbage.

UPDATE: I just spoke with someone at M-Audio on the phone, and they will be taking a good look into what is going on tomorrow. I hope that they'll be able to figure something out from all the data I've been sending them. :P
