A Sharp Decline

After enjoying the large rush of downloads and traffic to the site, I am starting to come down from my high now that downloads have declined a lot. I now have a sample of how good my response is when I pass my information through the traditional channels (VersionTracker, MacUpdate, etc), and I have a pretty good sample of how updating a product (i.e. the 1.0.1 release) refreshes the download traffic a bit. The next incremental release will be the true test, though, since it will be distanced from the first release in such a way that there shouldn't be any overlap in exposure.

The first few purchases rolled in the last few days, which is exciting to see. This tells me that people out there can see how useful FuzzMeasure is, and are willing to part with their hard earned dollars to get more value out of it. For those out there who could use, but have not yet purchased, FuzzMeasure, I wish I could ask each one of them why they haven't. If there is something that is seriously lacking, I want to correct it. If one great idea comes in from the masses, I can only assume there's a good hunk of my target market that also shares the same need.

I have been in contact with others that participate in this market, and I am getting some great feedback. I know there's a lot of potential out there, and I've only just begun to start tapping it. In order to both release my latest improvements, and to increase my traffic some more, I shall be releasing an incremental update soon. These bursts of download traffic make for great motivation to keep updating FuzzMeasure. As always, watch this space!
