John: I haven't touched libpst in years. At the time I played with it, I just hacked on the source until it compiled and worked properly on OS X, and didn't do much past that point.

Surely, by now the source compiles and works properly on OS X without much intervention required...

I have worked with libpst quite a bit on OS X. It works great. I find the secret is to add the .mbox extension to the resulting files and then I can drop them into Entourage or import them into mail. An easy way I found was to use a file re-namer. I have used name mangler and with it created a droplet where I can drop the files onto it and it renames all of them then I can do what I want with them. Is libpst your project? Or are you working on the source to come up with a Mac OS X friendly version on your own?
